Oh come on man you can't tease like that which forgeline s are they at least something small like are they monoblock or modular ?

You should have told me man I would have been so down to help out lol I like setups like that.
You did help, more than you realize!

Okay fine, I'll give up a little...

When I put GA1Rs on the Stealth Fighter a couple years ago, someone came along and copied them almost exactly, and it drove me insane! Forgeline can make any of their wheels to any specs and with any finish, so why copy? (imitation is the sincerest form of flattery) Anyway, I wanted to think WAY outside the box, in hopes that it would be a while before someone tried to copy me.

My flavor would normally be GT1 5-lugs in Trans Smoke. In fact, that's what I initially quoted out. But when I realized how similar they would look to my GT350 reps, I had a change of heart.

I ordered GA3Rs with exposed titanium hardware and open lug faces. They're truly one of a kind. The specs are aggressive (again, thanks to Paul here) and the colors are offensive.

Hopefully a full reveal next week. (waiting for some mechanical upgrades I'm working on simultaneously)

You know what? What the heck... everyone in this thread has either directly given me tech info which helped me make the decisions on fitment or they inspired me to step outside my comfort zone and take some risks. I'll give you guys a little preview. I hate posting a crappy cell phone pic, but I won't have time for a proper photoshoot for a while.

One thing I need to point out though- I think we should establish new categories... I'll call them "Aggressive Stance" and "Aggressive Race". I'm familiar with aggressive stance fitment. Sandwich the fender between the wheel lip and the sidewall. I've gone "aggressive" in that way with my bagged 2011. My new setup is different. I'll call it "Aggressive Race" because I feel it's as much tire & wheel as I am willing to squeeze under the car while still being able to bang curbs on the roadrace track. IOW, I went as wide as I could without rubbing and as low as I could without negatively impacting the handling. It's functional fitment.

With that said, 19x11 with 305/30s in the front and 19x12 with 325/30s in the rear. No rubbing, and it has plenty of usable travel.

Looks great Sharad, we need some close up pics, I'm especially interested in seeing more picks of the front wheel and tire fitment.

I do agree that there is a major difference between Aggressive Stance and Aggressive Race, but I also understand that there are people who pride themselves in function first and those guys will probably never understand why a fitment such as yours is so appealing to so many of us.

Thanks for the compliments guys. It was really important to me that I get this right. I'm poor, so I can't just buy a couple sets of Forgelines a year. This was like the cliche, "measure TEN times and cut once!" ;)

I'm sorry, I don't have proper "fitment" pics yet because I've been thrashing on the car to get it ready for display this weekend, but here's a car wash pic which gives you a better idea of the fitment. It does poke, but very little. It certainly doesn't rub anywhere. I was going for GT350R style fitment. I think I nailed it in the back. IMO, the fronts are too high offset on the GT350Rs... I didn't want that. So I ran the exact same sizes (19x11 & 305/30) on my front tires as the Shelbys do, but with the proper offset to get the front poke to match the rear. In person, the edge of the tread tucks but the sidewalls poke.

We're really slammed at work right now, but the tentative plan is to produce new front spoilers/splitters which are actually improved versions of what I'm running now. I'm hoping we can go into production before summer 2017.

Ridetech Level 2 coilovers. Right now I'm at 350F/400R but I just ordered 450F/600R. Now that the car is no longer a daily driver, my plan is to fully prep it for HPDEs so that it is ready to race as it sits in the garage at any given time. That's why I ordered stiffer springs (and some functional aero).
