Yea i was getting the same emails from them. They told me shipping next week for 5 months. Then also blamed special order. When i finally asked for a refund, no email replies so I called my credit card company and filed a dispute. Totally a scam company.

sorry to revive a dead thread but im having the same issue. Per whipple they stated to just replace the vent bolt with a plug. Searched and no local store has the same plug. Any info on the whipple part number for the vent plug or where i can source it locally.

I use meguir's sealer, then in 48 hours or so top it of with colinite 845

I use meguire's endurance gel for years, but sometimes it slings onto the paint if excess is not taken off. I use cover all now. no sling

I used method 1 and have no problems, you can use method 2 but drive the car until it is up to operating temp, I believe it is harder on the motor if you just let it idle until it gets up to temp.
