I will leave mine stock for a little bit.

Yo! Darin, first thanks for your service.

I agree with you. I'm going to leave my new car stock at least till the first oil change(Which I will Do Myself). I do have some inside info and that being for the guys that don't race their vehicles. I think you will be greatly surprised with the updated power and performance with the warmed over engine. Also the stock mufflers have their own distinct sound which may be loud enough for some guys. If this turns out not to be the case then I will change out the axle backs when I find the best sounding mufflers the aftermarket has to offer. As for lowering, not going to happen, as the cars with the 20's fill out the wheels wells. I probably will change the intake and add a oil separator and call it a day. The Philadelphia Auto Show is Feb 8-16th I have two tickets and free parking. I'll try to get some more updated info.

Sig, Thank YOU! (we carry Sig 226's or M11's in military lingo, and they are amazing!)

I need to look into what the oil seperator actually does, and i might pick one up too. Depending on the performance pack cost, if end up going with that i probably wont lower it. But if i have to go baseline because of the overall cost, then i might have to lower and add some aftermarket rims or something

You sure wont be hindering performance over the stock setup. You will gain the ability to have adjustable ride height, adjustable dampening, caster, camber.
Right, understand. Mainly I was interested to see if the person wanting to make that change was indeed looking for a large range of adjustability because of track usage.

I personally would not consider making such a change on a totally redesigned suspension without understanding it enough first.

I want a lower ride height, and moreover, an adjustable ride hight. I don't expect much of performance increase, but there will probably at least be a little.
Got it - thanks...

Adjustable ride height isn't all that it's cracked up to be. In some designs the tools and process necessary to adjust the suspension is too much for the average driveway mechanic, sometimes requiring a lift or removing the strut assemblies. Moreover, unless you have a 4-pad vehicle scale for corner weighting the car you could actually ruin the balance of the suspension rather easily.

- Catback exhaust within the first month.

- Intake/tune once I feel that the tuners have a good grasp on this new variant of coyote.

- Aluminum Driveshaft within the first year.

- Paxton supercharge, hopefully, 2-3 years after purchase.

My goal is 600-625rwhp.

With that kind of power I'd imagine I'll need to beef up the IRS in some way. So there will likely be a mod or two for that.

I am feeling some cosmetics too but nothing major. If those heat extractors are again simple inserts in the hood I'll pop them out and paint them black. And I like the matte black 5.0 badges. If my current rims fit, great. If not I'll be looking for some sexy matte black ones that do.

+1 Agreed.

Adjustable is nice for getting that super low stance with little or no fender gap but the car can feel strange if it's off too much.

We have a nice selection of professional race services companies here in Indy but they won't touch street cars or put them on a Chassis dyno unless you know the right guy.

Lowering springs surely could do the same thing for the "look" but having adjustable is superior so you can tune that sweet spot of looking good, not hitting speed-bumps, and still handling well. Admittedly I've never owned adjustable coilovers, but many of my friends have and they never needed anything special to adjust the ride height (spanner wrench I think).

Wow, that is a lot of hope & work... but you forgot to mention what you are going to do with those 600horses..? Rather pointless to pursue a goal and leave a blank ending as to why you are doing it. Is it so the car turns-in quicker, or all that HP for the uphill sections at COTA..?

Grimace is right. Some adjustables are a nightmare or a labor intensive PITA to adjust, Some of the newer ones are OK using a Spanner Wrench, but you still have to unload the suspension just to make the adjustments. They are also only warrantied for a short time by the manufacturer. If this is your thing get dirty and enjoy your passion. Everyone has an idea for what is just right for them. So guys make your car as bad as you like and have fun.

The OP didn't ask about what the planned application was, only want sort of upgrades were you planning.

But since your curious, it has nothing to do with autocross type events. I'll be enjoying 1/4 mile runs and hopefully I'll even get out to Beeville Texas to do a few 180+mph runs.

I hope the Texas Mile is still around by then. Beeville isn't being very kind to them right now. If they stay alive it might be at a different venue.
