You'll probably have your half shafts fail at some point, so you might as well get those out of the way. I plan on doing DS and HS with my FI install.

Tires for sure. If it is purely street driving I wouldn't worry about breaking parts too much. Loosing traction though is definitely a big consideration.

stickes are good, the half shafts are not a bad idea

we are installing the dss 1400 hp shafts tomorrow in our shop car.

the converter will follow along with the exedy stage 2 clutch upgrades and billet intermediate shaft.

next week will be the driveshaft. always good supporting mods if your making a lot of power

Temperature control is important. I bought the Lethal Performance Grill Delete kit. With the Intercooler in front of the Radiator, it will help to add airflow. After that spend your money on a custom tune. Then after that, all the goodies mentioned above are always a good idea.

550 hp street car on regular tires, you should be OK blower only. Sticky tires may up the need for half shafts. At about that level, I would start looking at billet oil pump gears. Probably the biggest piece if insurance you can throw at it.

If you're keeping street tires on it you won't need anything since the tires will be your limiting factor. The second you want to run a stickier tire- halfshafts, clutch and IRS bushing kit.
