AEM 30-4406 BOOST GUAGE question.

Is anyone here running the aem 30-4406 boost gauge. And if so have you experienced any type of lag in readout for boost or vacuum. Just curious if my sending unit is defective or if this is normal.

What are you seeing exactly? It should be pretty instant

This is just at idle. It any where from .

.5 to 1.5inhg off at times it catches up but it’s a lag. Just I’m just spoiled after mechanical gauge

Yup, I'd trust a gauge over the dash

Well damn now i got to rethink this whole set up. Other then boost gauge what gauges are most people running

i hadn't thought of that either till literally I posted that. I just always default to the Dash is gospel that can't be questioned

The dash gauge isnt a real guage, its inferred from calculations in the computer. Not exactly accurate.

That gauge should be fine. I would assume its MORE accurate than your dash gauge. I currnelty run a gauge that datalogs into my Ngauge, but doesnt really help me day to day. Later i plan to get this one.

Here's mine after blowing the stock blown engine. Added the AF also.

10-4. I also have ngauge (non-Lund). Best device ever I’d love to get another locked one.

I’m probably gonna swap to the boost gauge you recommended or maybe a prosport evo.

That looks good. I was running a turbo smart boost /vac gauge.

I decided to buy a Autometer Elite Stepper Motor gauge, it calibrates and performs a sensor diagnostics at power-up for extreme accuracy every time. I'm not sure if your calibrates on each power up to keep accurace.
