My factory warranty ends next month and was wanting to know if I should get the extended warranty. I know the engine would be void because of the Whipple but kind of worried about the other things that could go wrong like evaporator... etc.

Seeing as you have a 15 and live in Texas.. I would recommend it. It's worth it just to have piece of mind for the vapor core alone .

I've owned a 12, 15 eboost, and now my 15 GT... all 3 have had the vapor core replaced. I bought the extended warranty at like 35k miles because of my obvious horrible luck with the vapor cores, and sure enough 3k miles later it was replaced. It seems to be way more apparent in the southern warmer states, so keep that in mind.

Look at some of the sites that sells it online (Flood Ford) for example, and check quotes on the term you want. I think I spent around $750 for a 4 years 75k miles premium care warranty. That's half the price of getting the vapor core alone replaced.

Could you tell(visual or sound wise) that the work was performed on the two s550's... like noise, rattle, or dash misalignment etc?

I got the premium care from Flood Ford...cheap and easy to deal with. Do it before warranty expires or price goes up!

^^^^
This, all the way. Flood Ford has the best pricing on the warranty programs (and has for years), plus you don’t want to have to pay more after your warranty is already expired.

on both of my s550's no. I looked thoroughly after the worked performed, and haven't noticed any rattles.

My 12 was a different story... was scratched in multiple places, and thus I've never taken my cars back to that particular dealer.

It's all up front. Ford direct offers payment plans, but you will pay more for it directly from them.

Flood ford does accept Paypal as a payment option. Paypal offers 6 months no interest on anything $99 or more wherever its accepted. So if you have a Paypal credit account thats an option.

I agree, they had the best prices I could find when I was looking for one for my F-150. Very easy transaction.

Do it online and pay with credit card, then pay off at your own schedule.....
