Seems to me a simple bore scope of the cylinders would tell them what they need to know.

If I were to speculate,
1, the bore scope shows detonation and now they want to pull the heads.

2. They don't believe you never tuned it and are trying to scare you by saying you will be on the hook for the labor.

My engine was replaced under warranty because of detonation damages
Have a power pack 2 on it and track suspension as well than racing seat, harness, tires etc
Really depend on the dealer

Call the Ford 800# if you have not already and get a Regional Rep to open a Case. State your issues/concerns and make them aware that you need a loaner. You’ll get a Case #, which should place priority on your situation and the Dealer must respond and supply status updates to the Regional Rep. to getting your car issue resolved.

Most Dealerships usually afford a loaner to any Customer if the vehilce is needed to be kept longer than 48 hours. If the Dealer doesn’t have any more on-site loaners, they can contract out a loaner through Enterprise or similar Rental Agencies that Ford uses and they cover the cost of the loaner, but excluding fuel costs that are paid by the customer.

That's good to hear - you should get some momentum now. I'll give you one more tip of advice as being one who's "been there , done that".... STAY ON TOP of your Regional CSR. If you don't hear from the CSR via phone or emails, call them and stay on top of the situation. They deal with a ton of folks so don't get frustrated if you're not hearing back or getting updates.

I would also nudge them into the fact that your vehicle has been down for x-days and you want to know what type of compensation they're going to do for you, being that you are paying on a car you can't drive and a car you can't enjoy.

Definitely going to make my concerns known to this rep as soon as they contact me....

So it's been a very long two months that my car has been at the dealership...

After getting Ford involved over two weeks ago and being assigned a case, I finally got some answers from multiple people in the service center. now if they had communicated with me like this a month ago, I never would have had to contact Ford Corporate.
Monday I approved them to tear down the cylinder heads as requested by Ford Warranty Dept.
This morning I received a call from the service manager with great news...
Ford is replacing my engine under warranty!!!

Thanks to this thread I will not be tuning my car until the warranty expires. I already have issues with my local dealer. Can't imagine what BS I'd have to go through if I was in the same situation. I guess the Blower can wait.

Can always do the Roush blower...it keeps the warranty if installed by Ford or ASE certified tech.
