Im sure this has been a topic but thought I would ask...drove around for about an hour this evening and my AdvanceTrac light, ABS, Hll Assist lights came on as I approached home. I couldn't change my driving mode as well. I did just have my rear diff fluid changed about a few weeks ago which the same situation happened but the lights went away until today. Parked the car and let it sit for about 45 min and then started it again. Still have those lights come on. Tried to read and fault codes with a OBD scanner and nothing. Any suggestions on what it might be? I have a 2015 GT.

Thanks in advance

Wheel speed sensor or wheel bearing/thrust washer on rear bearing.

question, do you hear a clicking noise upon acceleration? 1-5 mph? Giveaway the thrust washer is broken and needs to be replaced. (Often takes the wheel bearing with it.)

Sometimes cleaning them and the tone ring works

^^This^^ worked for me when I had that problem. Remove the sensors and spray them with brake and parts cleaner and wipe them down with a clean rag. Repeat that process for the ABS tone rings. Once you’ve done that, take the car for a long drive to give the PCM time to evaluate the system and hopefully clear the lights.

Thanks for the input. I guess if it is a wheel sensor then I need to find out which one? Or would you replace them all?
Do you have a scan tool with abs functions that can read B and C codes. The code will tell you which one it is. Other than that you can start with a new sensor and start pluggin it in on each corner and see if the fault goes away.

Thank you. I am taking it in to my mechanic tomorrow. He also thinks its a sensor. Here's hoping

Thanks for all the responses. Took it to my mechanic and he said it was the wheel sensor. One last question... anybody know of a good scanning tool that can read abs and srs codes for a decent price.

Mechanic will track it down but if you’ve never had to replace a rear hub on your 2015, thrust washers are definitly sus. Anyway, hub, thrust washer, dirty tone ring, and sensor are the usual horsemen of this particular apocalypse.

Ok an update. Had my mechanic check it out. Couldn't find any problems. He cleared out any codes. Drove it for about 2 hours today as it was nice, as I was coming home the ABS, Advance Trac light popped up again as well as the hill assist light and SRS. WTF!. I have changed out the left rear wheel sensor already. Parked the car and did a scan... C0037-07 - Left Rear Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Mechanical Failures. So, could this be the thrust washer and or wheel bearing?

My battery is only a couple of years old. Haven't tested it. The car usually sits over the winter with a trickle charger attached. I talked to my parts guy at Ford and he says that my car doesn't have the thrust washers but he said that I should look. Talked to my mechanic today and he has tested the wiring for possible damage. I did replace the wheel sensor. So can I assume it is the wheel hub assembly even though my mechanic checked for play and said there was none?

Again, thanks for all the input.
