I had posted about this previously. I ordered one in November. It was taking about a month or so to ship
and in that time, I heard from a member that was having problems getting it to work. I almost canceled
the order but I took some comfort that my dealer and another major dealer were continuing to sell them,
as surely if the unit is questionable, Suncoast would halt and/or recall or the dealers would pause selling them.
I never installed mine and brought up my concerns with my dealer. They expressed concern that I raised this
about 3 months since receiving. I responded why I delayed but they were not so sure that Suncoast would accept a return.
My initial call to the dealer got a response, 'Seems fine, we've sold about 18'. The second time they conceded what I
was hearing: "impossible to tune", etc.
In the end I had to eat the return shipping and some of the dealer's handling fees. About $100. At least I wasn't one of the
ones that roundtripped the sucker with bad results.
