I went with the fixed - I spoke with Rodney at Steeda, and he told me they spent a year developing the adjustable, then another 6 months playing with the settings on various combinations of cars and springs to get the settings where they worked best. Of course, if you're serious about tracking the car, then the adjustable may be better for you. If you're looking for something to put on the car and drive, you should consider the fixed.
Good summary. All about the right tool for the job.

Koni makes the Steeda's?
I think they try to deny it - but my fixed Steedas say made in Holland and sure do look identical (besides blue paint).

Steeda doesn't deny that they are made by the same manufacture as Koni's. The difference is in the valve design. Steeda has developed their own valve design based on their own testing. The Steeda design seems to me to be more compliant that the Koni's. The Steeda's I have on my Mustang have a softer ride than the Koni Sport Yellows that I have had on several of the BMW's that I have owned in the past. More like the Dianan re-valved Koni Yellows that I had on my 2003 BMW Z4 with Dianan Stage II suspension.

I installed Steeda Pro Action NON adjustable + Sportline Linear

1. You feel more of road imperfections due to linear spring

2. You feel less of bigger bumps (like speed bump) than stock due to softer compression on non adjustable

3. body roll is reduced good margin

I like the set up so far.

I like the Steeda Pro-Action Adjustable Shocks & Struts a lot better than the OEM shocks & struts. Read post # 167, 177 in this thread http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56302&page=12 where I written two reviews. There is review by member Bluemustang on the Koni's where disliked them enough to switch over to Ford Racing shocks & struts.
In my experience, the Konis felt too firm for me. With firmer rebound, the car felt jacked down. Too soft on the rebound and it felt a tad bouncy like pogo stick effect. This was with BMR perf springs. When set right, it was acceptable.

However, I like the Ford Racing Shocks better. I decided to switch the springs also to Ford Racing Track. The reason why is because I wanted to get a combination made to work together, therefore I don't have to change again later. I'm not putting any blame on the BMR springs, it just didn't work with that combination for me. It might work well for someone else and I really liked it at first. Over time I grew tiresome of the Konis though.

I still probably don't need track springs and shocks for just street driving. And that's where the notion of going too far comes into play. It may be a little much but the FR shocks feel more glued to the road on average. Over bumps there's less of the car bouncing or skipping. This combo seems to glide better over uneven surfaces.

But don't be fooled, it's still very firm and stiff. But I'm happy overall with the setup compared to before with the Konis. My advice would be to do your research and find a known combination that works. If I had kept the Konis on the car, I think Steeda UL or BMR SP083 might've been a better match. That's my 2 cents FWIW.
