Adding Nitrous

2019 GT
2019 GT with manual, E85, tune, cold air and Headers.
Looking to throw a 100 shot of nitrous at it. Car will be strictly 1/4 mile driven with around 100 hits a year.
Want any feedback or information regarding do's and do not's. looking for tuning tips, maintenance tips, expected engine life, ect,ect.
PS: before its said, I live in Canada so that Hellion or Whipple some may suggest that costs $10,000 to install in the lower 48 will cost me over $20,000 in the Great White North. I don't have that money to throw into a weekend warrior.

You can safely run 150 shot on E85. My tuner had me start out logging with the 100 shot to make sure fueling was good, after which he approved jetting for the 150 shot, which is what I’ve been running ever since.

Have you been drag racing your car NA? If so, what’s it running?

Suspension setup is going to be key to running a good et and mph. It’s actually a lot tougher to do than many think it is with a manual tranny.

Yes Suspension is King!!! Complete BMR Bread and Butter 2 Kit along with K member and Drag springs supported with Viking Shocks. Steeda cradle bushings as well. That gets me in the 11's.

Nitrous is a lot of fun as long as you keep the pressure up and have all the extra's. A plate system is the way to go on these cars too. Brands like Nitrous Outlet or Nitrous Express will be the best ones. I have ran NX in the past and it always worked great.

For add-ons, I would do a blow down tube (need for truck use), bottle warmer, Purge, and a window switch (this will control the RPM it sprays)

Steeda short throw shifter on the M82 with BG fluid in the tranny ( night and day difference, no lockout ). Twin Disk McLeod and 1 piece drive shaft.

That’s good to hear. Any timeslips to share here before you add nitrous and see what you run with it?

What Compression/Rebound settings were you running on your Vikings to get out of the hole?

Lol! Real men do whatever it takes to get where they wanna be 👍🏽.

Soon, I’ll be going turbo and still keeping the titty in the throttle body’s mouth too, so I suppose that might make me a “Real G.”
