Anyone have an idea as to what would be required to do this? I wouldn't care about swapping out the door panel. I could just attach it to the seat.

I believe that GT Premium with the 401A package add the memory drivers seat

I am talking about after the fact. Plus I don't like the way ford integrated the switch, along with including it in an 1800 dollar package

Buy the memory seat door part, install it and have it programmed to work.
