Hi. I did a search and couldn’t find this question answered. I was wondering if it’s possible to add the memory seat option? And if it is possible, would it be ridiculously expensive? I really miss having that. I had it in my Volvo I traded for the Mustang. I’m very picky about my seat position, and it’s an irritant to have to try to dial it in again every time my husband drives it.

I know I should have ordered it to begin with, but I got a good deal on the car and I honestly didn’t think I’d miss that option as much as I do. :(

Oops. Put in wrong forum. :headbonk: Can someone move, please?

I tried this and you cant. Besides the hardware you need, there needs to be some programming done to the vehicle but in order to do that, your car must have the BLS option.

Bummer. I was afraid of that. Oh, well. I'll just have to live with it. Thanks for the info.

What is the BLS option? The BLIS option?

Lately Ford has been pretty good about making modules work on their own. I haven't gone though the workshop manual for these yet, but I don't see why you'd need any hardware past the switches. Programming may be the only issue. On some of the late 2000's Ford vehicles the only way to enable some features was to find a VIN to clone. All of the equipment knew what it was supposed to do, and had the ability to do it... only refused to because of the VIN it was programmed with.

Used to you could get a car exactly the way you wanted it. Heated leather seats without the premium package. If you wanted a $200 option you didn't have to spend another $4,000.
