Decided to add a SUV with some off road fun ability to the line up. And yes literally part of the decision was simply I wanted to have a Mustang and Bronco.

Went with. 2024 Big Bend 2.3 with 10 spd, some package upgrades. Love the modular bumper Overall really like it. Drive exactly how I would expect it too.

It really has some cool features, and I feel like everyday I'm learning about some hidden gem Ford added to it. (Like the bronco bolts, or pre power accessorie ports)

I like the hardtops way more than the soft tops. Looks great.

It would be nice, I wouldnt mind having 5.0 liter option for continuity lol. Oh well, I will say the 2.3 and 2.7 put down adequate power for my likely use.

The brakes are definitely a weak spot and are gonna get upgraded once I get a few days off. Probably better intercooler, then call it a day.

That is the best balance / tire config. The big tire ones handle like a marshmallow. The base model ones ride great not too much noise but have zero macho 4X4 look.

I'm glad you said that. I haven't tried one with bigger tires but felt like it would be as you said.

I've been thinking about getting one so went to dealer I bought mustang at and drove 4-5 back to back, incl 2 doors, and V6.

Didn't try the 2 door, wish I would have for fun(needed 4 though)

For a while I kept hitting road blocks. I:E Color and package I want...but wrong roof or roof and color I want but wrong package so on and so on and so on.

Indie notice tremendous plastics off gassing inside made me nauseous first getting in on hot day. It's very toxic....and a huge turn off for me.

I would leave all the windows open an inch or so, as much as possible for next 6+ months.

Seems like Ford, in their quest for cost cutting, have abandoned indoor air quality standard completely.

If a 5.0 was offered, the sales would absolutely go through the roof. Likely 50 reasons why Ford wouldn't do it though. Emissions probably #1.

If the 5.0 Coyote was the same from the Mustang to be used in the Bronco, why would emissions be drastically different to pass? I’m sure they could do minor PCM revisions to easily pass if that was the roadblock.

I was surprised at how good the 2.3 was and can imagine with a tune etc would be amazing. The 2.7 with tune would be on par with 5.0.

I was talking more about units built versus engine displacement and total emissions. Example to offset all the 5.2, 5.0, 7.3 emissions, there will be a certain number of vehicles with smaller engines to offset.
