What is an acceptable amount of boost and are the factory gauges accurate? I ask because mine buries the 20psi gauge rather quickly. I am waiting on my ETS IC, and have only 6510 plugs gapped at .025 and running 91 octane. Car seems to be very strong but im just wondering if the turbosmart dual BOV is adjusted too high? I just got done replacing the motor because of someone else's irresponsibility, don't want to have to do it again because of my own.

No other mods? Mine would peg 20psi during high load as well when the car was 100% stock, but not real often. Adding the FP tune and Mishimoto IC has resulted in 21-22psi at the highest brief peaks.

No other mods..it will go right to 20 gear after gear. Like i said..not a genius about these motors yet. Going to give Palm Beach Dyno a call tomorrow for the tune. Anyone ever use them?

Assuming that you're down in Florida, 20psi is fairly standard.

Nope, Im in Iowa, i just have known the owner for a long time. Its 28 degrees here. Ok thats good to know, just seems odd that the gauge only goes to 20psi then. Kinda hard to tell if its 20 or 25 at that point.

Too bad you're in Iowa, if you were in FL I'd reflash your IPC with the 2016 firmware and make that a 30psi gauge for ya :)

Can a dealer reflash the firmware? Because I might know a guy, who knows a guy. I called Palm Beach today. Tuner is on the way!

Nope, dealer can only flash what's available for your car. Unfortunately the latest firmware for a 2015 does not include the 30psi boost gauge.

Ok well my Ford guy has his trusty laptop with him. Hoping to hang out with him this weekend.
