Good to know, but it’s silly I think. It’s like too many options. I mean you can drive in “D” and have the car in Sport +. So that’s why I’m saying other than than the paddle shifters why have S and the S+...
For folks like me with Magneride and Active Exhaust, in drive mode Sport+, we also get a louder exhaust and stiffer suspension. So there might be times, we want more immediate shifts, full manual control, but not the suspension and exhaust of S+ drive mode :)

It is hard if not almost impossible to run much better stock/drag mode stock tire than 11.8-11.9. Drag mode with traction will be the fastest/quickest. My Sport mode (E tuned) is drag mode in automatic. Drive shifts around 7100 and Sport 7500 rpms. I had to pedal it a tad on the first couple shifts last time at track, but still managed 121 mph trap @ 1500’ elevation full weight pp1 car stock tires.
Were you using foot brake, or the line-lock, and what 60' times were you cutting along with ET?
Using the ole foot brake/ebrake technique was giving me the best 60' and I never had a need to pedal'd the car. What gears are you running?

I ran 11.91 and 11.92 back to back my first trip to track. Those where 1.94 and 1.96 60 foots leaving on brake 1400-1500 rpm.

Last trip my best was 2.1’s (12.0’s @ 121mph) no matter what I did and literally had to bail out of 3 of my 5 runs due to traction/axle hop issues. A Hellcat widebody on DR’s broke his half shaft in the lane next to me. The yellow one in my avatar pic. Prep sucked...

I run unplugged at box so no line lock.

Haha I feel your pain. At our local track they couldn't prep for DR's if there life depended on it. I remember one run @ GMP, they let the bog boys go first, after there was so many marbles on the grooves in front of me I got out of my car, grabbed the broom and swept it. They did not like that one bit surprise surprise.

Just a suggestion, next time try this a couple of times and see if it works for you. Lower the rear tires to around 25/26psi, haze the tires just enough to clean them off, footbrake it until it starts to push through, then apply the Ebrake. Leave the line around 2000rpm, and see if that gives you a little
better 60' time...just a thought.

Yeah my last trip I went too low on tire pressure 22 psi. And their air compressor at track was not working. 26 is a good number for street tire. Mine is 3.55 btw with pp1. I have not tried just flashing off idle yet either.

Sounds like you have about the same setup as my PP1. One other thing, is take the element out of the CAI box, you may not be able to feel it, but
it does show on the time slip.

Yes it does! I do pull it, but have a little better solution for next time. Just yank the paper part out of the oem filter. Instant drag screen. ;).
