A few comments on a Lund tune I just flashed in..

Well, sorry to bring back an ''old'' thread but I have to clarify and rewind the whole thing...

The tune I had flashed at first wasn't the one for my application, it was for a no-tune Steeda CAI for this very reason the engine didn't pull over 4/5000 rpms, I've just flashed in the right tune this morning (which Lund mailed me at once) and the car goes like...

A BEAST!!!!

It might had lost something below 3500/4000 rpms but over 4k it goes like a storm.

Thanks to Lund (the ngauge is easy to work with...) and to Steeda for its superb CAI.

And what about your fuel economy? Are you noticing better or worst mpg?

What is this "Clutch protection"?

Clutch protection is a part of torque.management it itooks for clutch slippage,by using rpm and speed.If picks up any slipage it shuts the throttle closed for a very short period.It cant be just turned of but can be tuned.

I don't know, I just drove it e few miles but my GT is not a DD so fuel economy is no big deal actually.

Fuel economy isn't significantly different with the Lund tune. Any loss of fuel economy is mostly attributed to more aggressive driving.

Man u and me both! lol. I want to just do it but am nervous that once i void my warranty I will be that 1 in 1000000 coyotes that grenades just from an intake/tune.
