The two gauges on the Pp car are actually on piece.
Really?... I did not expect that. So, I would have to replace both gauges? I was thinking of putting in a PLX Gauge. 2 1/16 inch.

do those panels just pop off or are there screws somewhere you need to take out first?

How did you mount it?

As for gauge I would go with Wideband AF/R if it's boosted or oil pressure if N/A. There are some multi gauges out there that give you all kinds of digital readings to select.

I made an insert that fit where the center insert was. From memory I think it was 3" outside and a 2" hole for the gauge. It was .42" thick. Also painted the aluminum dash, the vent trim, the gauge trim, the shifter trim, the cupholders, the side vent adjusters, and the bottom of the shifter flat black while it was apart

I am not sure man. I haven't actually removed mine and am currently deployed so I won't be able to mess with it and help you out, sorry. Hopefully the guy that has done this mod can help you out.

Remove the smaller parts by the door and steering wheel first. I think there is 2 screws under these pieces. After that you just pry it off or pull it off.

I had one of my friends put in my boost gauge last night. he said it was a pain in the ass and took him about 3 hours to do. the gauge almost fits perfect in the vent but he had to make a little bracket so it wouldn't move around. It came out really nice but once a pod is available I will definitely buy it.
Great installation. That looks really professional!!

Are there no gauge pod options available for pillar or steering column yet?

So I'm in the midst of trying to put a mechanical boost gauge into my 2015 GT with PP. I removed the 2-gauge unit and have been trying to mock up a way to mount the 2 1/16th inch autometer gauge in one of the two available small holes that are there, but I've had no luck at all. That sort of fabrication isn't my strong suit.

What did you make that black insert out of to go inside your vent ?

I'm thinking if I can find some black textured abs plastic or something like that I could try trimming and modding it to be the right size to install a gauge and backing to it.

I would prefer not to mount my gauge to the dash, a-pillar, or steering column, but I guess if there's a custom mount out there I'd sure consider it because it will likely come out cleaner than whatever I cook up. I just want a clean installed look.

BTW, where did he run the lighting power wires from on that cobalt boost gauge?
