9.5" up front, 11" rear...too staggered?

So I have a set of the Mach 1 HP wheels on order with Ford, and the more I read the more I think I don't want a 10.5" up front....while looking at the what is available I did find the PP2 comes in 2 sizes, you can get a 9.5" or 10.5" for the front and a 10" or 11" in for the rear....I already picked up my Nitto NT555RII's and the recommend size for them is an 11....would a 9.5" up front and an 11" in the back look weird?

I know would not be able to buy these as the "kit" so I will be a bit more upfront cost on them, but I have a 275/40/19 P Zero tire that is currently the rear on my PP1 wheels that only has 700 miles on them and could be used on the 9.5" front (which is the same wheel size the rear currently has)

That is a crazy stagger IMO and a lot of poke in the rear. My 19x10 pokes a bit in the rear. I have 19x10 squared and love it, if I were going for this I would probably do 9.5 front and 10 rear, just my opinion though…

The only reason I am thinking 11" in the rear is that is the preferred tire side for the Nitto they list 10.0-(11.0)-12.0 as all approved but I want to make sure I get as much contact patch as I can, since added the Roush Phase 2

Honestly, if you really want 11 in the rear I would consider different rims then… 1.5” is a big stagger. I just put Project 6GR rims on and I love them, just in case you’re not completely set on the birds nest.

Too much wheel poke can destroy your paint too, make sure you’re aware of all ups and downs when getting super fat rims. Do the 11s need spacers?

The 11' will fit with no spacers. I am pretty set on the 11" on the back just because I already spent $800 on the rear tires for them...and really want to keep the OEM look to the wheels. I have no problem buying new tires for the front, but I think the 10.5" wheel is gonna be too much poke on the front. I guess really the question becomes how the tire would sit on the 9.5 wheel vs the 10" wheel and if would even been noticeable? Looking at rim size 275 is listed as the "max" size for a 9.5" but ideal for a 10", so would 275 on a 9.5 or 10" wheel actually have a difference in size? I was just looking at the 6GR wheels, and nothing just jumps out at me ...lots of nice wheels just nothing that I see fitting the vision of my car

I personally wouldn't go that big of a difference on a F/R stagger but each their own.

I currently do an 11" square but doing a 10/11 stagger is easy to fit and works well for the size/weight/power of these cars. 9.5 and a 10.5 stagger is common as well but I like big rubber lol.

Not sure how much this helps, but I had a 17x9.5 / 17x11 setup on my '00 T/A and loved it. Ran 275s and 315s.

This has been discussed and argued over and over. Whatever you like and whatever looks good to you just do it. Just make sure the brakes fit. I am 19 x 9.5 front and 20 x 11 rear and I think it’s amazing.

My 16 GT had the RTR Tech 7s with 255/35/20 front on 9.5" and 295/35/20 on 10.5" rear. The 255 was too stretched on the 9.5 and the 295 was just right with a pretty vertical sidewall. The 255 nt555g2 front tire provided more than enough braking power for ANY scenario on the street, however.

This time for my '22 I'm going with 9.5 front with a 265/35/20 for a very mild stretched sidewall and a 295/35/20 on an 11" rear for what should be the slightest tiny little stretch vs 295/10.5" sidewall. Trying the Ecsta PS91s this time since they were on a stellar deal, they look great in person.

I hadn't considered that.
Been making myself crazy over wheel and tire sizes. I don't care for the typical 19x10/11 that every wheel maker seems to be pushing.
Fronts just seem too wide with tramlining and hydroplaning and all that headache.
However, the rears DO need some width for sure.
What size tires are you running and offsets on your wheels if you don't mind?

Stock. I never lower but that is by choice. I’m old.
