Those are cool and all, but 1 they don't offer any sort of power gains and 2 the GT350 already comes with an 87mm throttle body and that unit is cheap and easily adaptable to the others like the 15-17 or 18+.

On a supercharged LS application (to which those are marketed for) I would imagine the 95mm version would provide decent power gains. On a naturally aspirated GT350 that already runs an 87mm, the gains would be almost null which is a big pill to swallow after some $6-700 investment.

There's some good tech in the link provided covering lower throttle position issues with the GM TB's. I'm not posting to promote the product, I'm posting for the knowledge base offered by Soler's "Tech" web link. Reading through this will uncover the reasons many have talked about throttle tables and tuning of the GT350 87mm TB. I now better understand S style TB's and the inherent low speed response issues.

The merit of using a modded S style TB is another topic. A bunch of positive feedback is out there on non FORD forums.
I stand behind my OEM 80mm AFS 1100+ CFM TB. After reading about 95mm ZR1 LT5 TB's on a 5.0 my experimental side got the best of me.

I'm about to send my stock 2018 TB and IM to AFS to be ported. Just took them off the engine an hour ago. How has your experience been with the AFS ported '18 TB?

I would just get the manifold ported and skip the throttle body. A lot of people, including myself have had issues with it on the 18+ platform.

I have a 2015. I followed the relearn procedure and haven’t had a single issue in two years of daily driving.
That same TB is now installed on my GT350 manifold, again Zero issues and zero DTC’s.
