87mm throttle body to jlt intake coupler

I thought the 2018+ JLT’s used a 4.5” at the plastic tube end before the TB transition.

Could be, my bad. The tb needs a 3.75 though for sure

Couple things I tried to install it today since I got the right coupler it is 4.5-3.75 so thanks for that. But I used the adapter for the bullitt throttle body and it sort of makes it tilt to the left it looks weird but that's the only way it would go. Also the jlt now sits higher up and hits the hood. Got everything buttoned up and loaded the tune. It drove like a beast for about 5 minutes then the wrench came on which was a bummer.

I check all connections and everything is secure no leaks or what not. Couldn't do any datalogging as I wanted to but something came up so I had to put everything back to stock.

Any ideas on what could have caused the wrench?

Also any way to be able to tilt the jlt so the hood won't hit it

Who’s the tuner and is the tune specifically calibrated for the 87mm TB vs the stock 80mm and 120mm MAF housing CAI ?

Tuned by juggernaut performance and yes it was tuned for the throttle body. I need to recheck as i was watching videos of the people installing the power pack 2 on cars since that kit uses the throttle body adapter and 87mm and I seemed to have installed the adapter the wrong way

Yes, according to this install you’re 180° out. I don’t see how that will throw a DTC.

I didn't disconnect the battery before install could that have done it? I'll be able to dig into more thus coming week..

I read on some forums the wrench is usually a throttle body issue .

Do you think its the tune?

Disconnect the battery (OEM tune loaded) flip flange to its proper orientation, reassemble everything, reconnect battery and reload the tune.
If you get another DTC reach out to your tuner.

This is common with the 87mm. Prob need a few revisions is all
