Just got the car tuned today. We installed a Fore e-85 kit and tuned up the boost. We installed a 4.25" pulley on the F1A blower. There seems to be a problem. It's loosing boost after 6500 rpms and the horsepower is dropping off after 6300rpm. Any ideas? It's a F1A with stage 2 intercooler, 3400 stall stock headers minus the cat and 3" exhaust. No filter on the car for the dyno.

If it's actually losing boost and not just power you could have a big problem brewing.... the psi has to be going somewhere and hopefully not the crankcase. Hopefully it's just belt slip.

Any chance are you having belt slip?

We checked all of the pipes. We also installed new clamps on the complete system.
Couldn't this just be a simple boost leak? Did you check all intercooler/piping couplers?

That's what I was thinking. We put the shortest belt and cranked the tensioner to the max. It only gained 2 lbs of boost from a 4.75" to the 4.25" pulley.

Any chance are you having belt slip?

I hope it's a easy fix. I tried to upload the boost graph but, It keeps failing to load.

Sounds like belt slip. What does the Maf Lbs/hr reading look like at the 6300 RPM and up?

Make sure she isn't blowing the valves open.... (you upgraded the springs right?)
The boost might be going right out the tail pipe....

I'm not a coyote race guy, but I am sure beefcake might have info.
