My wifes auto(with circle d 3c) mustang on wastegate makes 640rwhp. She is not a car person, not a racer, just a regular woman that will drive whatever you put her in. She has no problems driving that car.

No suspension work done to the car, not even lowering springs. Michelin Pilot sports on the rear.

Another member on this forum had drove the car around, he can comment on how easy and "slow" the car feels at 640rwhp.

I'm getting kind of bored with 830... to each their own I guess. I got beat by a 725rwhp C7 Stingray... damn car is a pig from a 50.
830rwhp and it's a "pig" lol. Sure, compared to vette's it's heavy, but that's still an insanely fast street car. For most people, they would rarely be able to put all that power to use on the street.

If 500 is all you're after, stay all motor. People have pulled 550ish out of these motors in the 11-14 cars. Set it up the right way and it'll drive like stock. heads, cams, intake, full exhaust, and you'll be 500+ no problem. "Cams" for these cars scare a lot of people, they think it will have a choppy idle, and the whole car will shake, but it won't, this isn't an old school push rod v8. The TI-VCT will make it idle and run like stock until you put your foot in it.

This is what makes me sad, because I want the whole car to shake :brokenheart:

I'm not sure why you have the issue of trimming a mold block and a spacer off your engine block but it's to each their own. I went with the Roush SC for drivability, and MY Ford dealer will not void my power train warranty! If you were just to get in my car and go for a spin you'd never know it had the power it does. Put your foot down though and WOW!! Brenspeed estimated around 575rwhp 680 at the crank with the work they have done. Yes I'm probably going to look for some suspension upgrades but totally livable as it is. Roush did a great job with this set up. I do more track days than drag it so I went Roush.

If it was a one horse town, grinding could be acceptable. But, because there are multiple choices that require ZERO grinding, its not a viable option. In fact, you can have more power, more options, more potential and better drivability without grinding! So why add that extra 1-2 hours to the install, the mess it makes, etc.

As for the warranty, your factory warranty is in fact void. You better hope you have that in writing, if you have an issue, it can easily be rejected. You could've opted for the supplemental warranty but many do not because they think the dealer will do the same for free, but push comes to shove, that is not always the case. The fact is, the dealer has to turn in the warranty claim as a "stock" engine (remember the timing chain cover and block has been ground) which could raise some red flags.

Grant you on the warranty it is a gentleman agreement, but Brenspeed and my dealer have a good history and track record together, as do I with the dealer. Their are some great supercharging systems out there, Roush included. I was just sold on the drivability of the Roush. I think they (Roush) probably just do a good job of advertising their product for Ford and performance going hand in hand.Although I'm not sure who's SC is on my wife's Range Rover but it drives REALLY nice also, fastest SUV I've ever driven!!!

The Range Rover's are by far the best supercharged package from a factory I've ever driven as well. The shifting, use of torque, etc. Refinement is incredible. Calibration is done by Range Rover engineers, the SC is an Eaton TVS.

It's the destruction of the K brace that won't allow me to purchase the Roush. Simply unacceptable. If the brace wasn't needed or helpful when attached to drivers side, it wouldn't have been there in the first place.

bumping this thread. i drove FATHERFORD's 15 and can say that it drove much like a stock mustang, but was just faster in areas. Im not used to performance cars (when i drove it, my only car at the time was a 2014 Civic Si sedan) and if i didnt see the turbos under the hood, you couldnt have told me it was turboed.

Since driving this car i have purchased my own 2015 Mustang GT Auto and can say that after 5000 miles, it needs more power BAD. The stock 235s will not light up on a second gear hit unless its wet. any sort of tire (which you will want to do) and 600whp will seem super slow.

I will be doing a boostworks 800s kit after wheels and tires are done.

You are not used to performance cars, and coming from a civic si, and you think 600rwhp will seem super slow? LMAO.

I think you just don't realize how fast you are going, because in cars like civics it's deceiving and you think you are going faster then you actually are, whereas your mustang is the opposite.

And you can't just judge on tire spin. The stock tranny tuning does not make aggressive shifts. (Not sure about the regular SCT tune) Plus you have 3.15 gears. If you get the car aggressively tuned it will annihilate those 235's. My 2012 auto with a Bama performance tune spins 275 & 285 UHP summer tires going into second, quite a bit.

Why is tires getting lid up in second gear a good thing? You are comparing a FWD vs RWD of course the tires will get lid up very hard due to weight transfer. Guess you just need to get used to the benefits of RWD.

When I had my RX-8 the rpm's are so high when driving at 45 mph you felt like you are going fast. In the mustang it's so quiet and effortless I find myself speeding without even knowing.
