5 star tuning

Hi, I just got off the phone with 5 star tuning. They have tunes ready for the 2015 mustang v6. I ordered 87 and 93 performance tunes. I used their tunes on my f150 and was happy with their performance.

I recieved the tuner today. It only has an 87 performance tune installed. They are emailing me the 93 performance. I have only put on 30 miles so far but this thing runs way better than stock. The hesitation on take off is gone. Low end torque feels improved. But the mid and upper rpm range is a lot better. Shifting is much improved. Still smooth with light to moderate acceleration and firm with heavy acceleration. It will be next week before I can try the 93 tune.

I got a SCT X4 with 3 custom tunes for $428. I only got 2 tunes at this time. I'm not interested in an economy tune. I'm going to wait for a 93 race tune.

How much hp and torque does the 87 octane tune give you? How much does it cost?

I emailed them about tuning for my car and they said they needed to get the tuning template for my car from sct. So I will go with them if they have tuning available before anyone else.

No, my car won't be seeing a dyno.
All I got from 5 star was that they picked up "significant gains" from the v6. When I first installed the tune I was pissed at the performance and called them. They told me to drive it a few miles. Well I believe every time I get in this thing it's running better. So much fun to drive compared to stock. Probably the best investment I made. I'm still waiting for the 93 tune. Cannot wait.

As far as warranty, do you know what part of it is voided? I heard that they might void your whole "electric warranty" because of a tune, is that true?
