I asked this in a previous thread and deleted it, so here we go as a topic:

Hey guys, I have a few questions if anyone could help me out...

1- Should the tune be the first thing I get as a mod?

2- I would get a 93 tune, but would an 87 performance tune (for when I'm broke lol) make a significant difference compared to stock still?

3- Anyone had their car dynoed to see the actual gain numbers?

and finally:

4-How many tunes would I get if I buy the SCT tuner from unleashed?

Thanks in advance all :headbang:!

The first mods depends on your budget and what you want. My first mod was wheels, followed by a cold air intake. Now I am looking at a cat-back exhaust system and powder coating my wheels :D. Sounds like you want performance mods though:

-A cold air intake is around $250.

-Axle-back exhaust (like it says, just the rear section and requires cutting) is about $400+. Everybody and their mom makes a set it seems. Most ecoboost "only" setups work on the V6.

Catalytic converter & backwards systems are $700-1200. (Gibson and Borla are the only brands for the V6 as far as I know) The are bolt on which is nice.

There are headers available too at around $400. (BBK makes them) They are a PITA to install yourself or so I have heard.
