I was presented with a savage title 5.0 that was rear ended beyond repair. Front End is crisp and no sign of damage. Would cost me a little less than 1K for the entire car. I have an A/T Ecoboost. Should I just buy it and take out the engine, transmission (MT), and everything in the bay? Such a good deal and I could always sell it back.

What do you guys think?

The entire car for $1k? If you don't buy it, I will. Even if you don't do an engine swap, you could pull parts and sell out and make tons of money for mods!! Lol.

More than likely you'll need the engine harnesses as well. Not sure if the dash harness would be the same between the two vehicles - maybe?

$1k for entire car? What truck did it fall off of and in what neighborhood... LoL!!!

something sounds fishy, motor and trans are worth at least 7k. Did you mean 10K, that sounds more realistic.

Yeh, something's not right there. You sure the drivetrain is still in it? Lol.

what the....I agree with others, I find it hard to believe for 1k. Someone would have to be crazy stupid to sell it for the cheap.

You'll make a ton of money selling off all the parts.

I want to do an 2.3 ecoboost Fox so bad.

OP, I think your better choice would be to buy it and sell the drivetrain or swap it into another car. There isn't any upside to this swap.

Buy and part. Buy parts. EBs are pretty impressive.

The car is impact blue. I was very curious bc it was very cheap. 1000 dollar cash only. No check or credit cards. All paper works is here. I'm asking my apt manager to see if they allow me to have a wrecked car in the parking lot for a few weeks before I buy it.

From what I was told, the car was wrecked from drunk driving. I do have to make a trip. To pick it up. The car was checked out by my buddy who live locally to where the car located.
