I had zero clearance issues with kooks headers. Easiest I've ever installed.Does the Kooks fit well? I remember reading the Stainless Power design hits the AC bracket and bolt causing false knock.

I didn't buy it for my BBK headers. I extended them on my own and had a shop make custom connection pipes. I would recommend getting the connection pipes though. They just weren't available when I bought my headers a few months back.So I found these BBK 1-3/4" Long Tube Header that seem pretty awesome. If I got these, do I need to get the suggested required o2 extension kit and mid pipes?

Just a tune, which is required with the LT's.Fantastic. Are there any other required parts that I'd have to get besides the header?
I installed these on my buddy's car. High quality. Good fit. Price won't make you take out a second mortgage to pay for them.Stainless works with performance connect

Why would it need a tune?Just a tune, which is required with the LT's.
The headers are much less restrictive. Tune for LT's is a must. Why would it need a tune?
Got it. Well... So much for that. The headers are much less restrictive. Tune for LT's is a must.
That's why I was asking questions....So you thought you could just bolt on a set of longtubes and not tune it?
Again, that's why I've been asking questions. I didn't want to be the asshole that spent the money, installed the parts, ran the car and ruined it. Then there'd be the "I think I messed up" thread...You're willing to do headers but not tune? Say what?

Life is too short to stay stock. (:You don't have to run a tune go lt headers I ran without a tune for 7-8k miles only thing the tune did after I installed it was turn off the cel and plus if any afr is altered after the install the ecu will correct it
