So many variables involved. But I'm happy for anyone seeing lower premiums or great pricing.

After years of significant 🚀 increases, my insurance products seem to have plateaued.

I'm still under State Farm for 4 more days @ $1319 a year .

I'll be saving $853.
I pay nearly that per month. I need to stop getting speeding tickets

Yeah I've got a clean license, cars is garaged and I'm an old geezer but I'm a Rockstar Musician with cool vehicles that are paid off. Life is good until it ain't :)

I didn’t get as favorable results entering same coverages as through State Farm, but still about $200 per year cheaper. I’m 62 with clean driving record and excellent credit driven about 4K miles per year. Appreciate the info.

I’m in my 20’s, married, kids, own a house, great credit. Multiple speeding tickets in the mustang 😬.
Age and tickets most definitely are not helping. The area I live in is known for very strict policing. It’s a pretty safe area so the police focus on handing out tickets for going 5mph over the limit.

1st month I had my Mustang in 2016 I got a speeding ticket . I was like wtf did I do and why did I buy this car :(

Then I put in a radar detector and I use Waze. Haven’t go a ticket since. Don’t listen to people that say Radar detectors don’t work cause they do. Saved me from at least a dozen tickets. I never speed unless someone is in front of me so I get the alert and slow down. Waze just tells me where they are. Worth the investment and all those alerts make you slow down anyways :)

what is the cars stated value for a loss? I tried online quote for them and it was awful at a $50K value.

I'm pretty close to your price too. $488/yr. It's listed as low total mileage per year. Guess that helps.

Ya, State Farm is not in a good place right now.

I believe the pause in increases our area has been experiencing is only temporary. For the last few years, the industry as a whole has been re-pricing risk. Now, the greater instance of significant, yearly events (see HI and the Pacific NW, then NC, FL and CA), coupled with people driving in ways I never thought would become "normal" is going to push them higher on the next leg up.

It'd be nice if I was proven wrong.

YMMV.

I told them $26k.

I do about 1k miles a year on the Mustang. They give you a 2500 mile allowance that you can increase easily if needed.

I've got a GTI that is my daily. Smaller, easy to park, better on gas and easier to transport the grandkids, dog and haul gear to gigs. I also have Harley and the wife has a Tesla 3. All fun vehicles to drive.

AAA thought that they were going to clip me for $2700 this year. I said Nah! Haggerty is charging me $700, no mileage limit, and an agreed upon value of $41k.

also insured the RV for about $400/year less. As you can see I am totally impressed with how AAA treats their 25 year customers. My truck will be 25 years old in November so AAA will be losing that, too. Because I am a loyal customer.

I have said it before, the insurance industry is legalized racketeering.
