392 vs 2nd Gen coyote

Which one would you guys say is the better engine platform? The 392 is impressive no doubt and iv been having a long term debate with a buddy on which one is the best..can anyone help me?

I think the aftermarket is far superior for the Coyote. The Coyote can make just as much HP but would be less on the TQ side.

4V vs. 2V. I think they both have their strengths and weaknesses. Don't think this question can be answered.

That's why I prefer the coyote but I wanna be able to throw a charger on it and have some fun when my buddy is still worrying about his bottom end

Diff platforms....392 is old school tons of low rpm torque...pulls hard. Coyote winds out fast and pulls hard to redline vs the 392 which runs out of power quicker. Love um both

They are both amazing engines. Throw the LT1 in there too and you have the ultimate showdown of 3 best american muscle.

In terms of physical dimensions, yes you can put a modern Hemi in a Mustang. The coyote family motors are BIG, they're actually physically (roughly) the size of an old big block.

Correct. These DOHC motors are big! The 4.6 modular motors were the same way. They were as big as the Boss 429 motors from the late 60's.

I would defintely say the 6.4 Hemi is the king right now in stock form. Put that motor in a mustang and its a low 12 high 11 car.

I agree but only because it does make more power stock for stock though right?
