350R for sale at my dealer

MJJ where you located? I live in urbandale, like 20 minutes from ankeny. I was at dewey a while ago driving a GT and i casually asked about the new shelbys and the salesman said there would be a big mark up so the 92k price isn't surprising. He claimed they had the only R allocation in IA.

Did they say when it would be coming in? I'd love to go see it.

I live in Ankeny. The sales rep indicated it was coming in next week. I have a GT500 now and asked about an R probably 3-4 months ago and was told it was sold for a 25K ADM.

They called today and asked me if I wanted it. I want a white R.

The sales rep name was Casey Westra.

It will be interesting when more buyers get buyers remorse and we see,
cars sitting in the show rooms. I'm not sure how long the ADMs will last on the nonR cars. Maybe till the 17's start hitting the ground. Who knows I just want my CAR :amen:

That's 25k ADM. I know because i just ordered a GT350R + electronics and its a lot less than 92k.

New viper for 92K . I'm a ford guy but no brand loyalty. If I can get an R at MSRP next summer I will but not paying more than ADM. Maybe on a 2015 but no others.

I still wonder want whats going on with the delayed shipment of the Rs. That's only causing the ADMs to stay high. I've been looking for an allowcation not for 25K over. I've pretty much decided to wait for a 2017 model unless I luck into one from some other way.

I do think that the Rs will hold their value better than Shelbys of the past. Others are probably picking up on this and that's why the value is higher.

The last Mustang that was like this...that I can think of was the 2000 Cobra R.

They definitely generated a lot of desire for the 2007 GT500 but they made so many of them that year and years after that, the prices dropped a lot - great value cars today, actually.

I heard yesterday of an oiling issue and a retrofit on already assembled engines...

That story's been around for a while; supposedly takes 6 hours to fix.
