For those of you who have done the Red 350 / 350R caliper swap what whats the best site for buying the calipers ?

Lowest I have found for all 4 is $ 994.00 ( including $200 in core charges, so i guess $794 after core charges if I sent my black brembos in.

Ask Voodoo... He did a lot of good research early on for this type of swap.

I sold my stockers for $675... That is probably a better way to go then the core charge

When I started the thread on this topic a few months ago I bought the R calipers from my local ford dealer. But I own a automotive repair center so I get 25-45% off. I think you might be better finding them from a forum vendor or online somewhere unless you can get them from the dealer at a nice cost. Beware, the dealer will want your stock ones as a core unless you pay them the extra $50.00 per caliper, I'm not sure if online outlets do this or not. I kept mine and still paid less then online prices.

+1

I still have my stockers but they will go for sale soon, cant see the car without the red calipers anymore

I was told by white bear lake they can take any mustang caliper as a core, so if you know a junk yard you can send in V6 calipers, but even then barely breaking even im guessing with shipping

So are you all swapping these out on your own or are you having a shop do it ? I got a quote form my dealer and the labor was not bad but they really want to stick it to me on the parts.

I did it myself, that $994 price with the core charges included is right around what I paid from white bear lake

Just have the stock ones professionally painted.

Not 100% sure but I remember reading that the 350 calipers have a different knuckle and wont fit the GT.
Dam. I hate seeing the Brembo in front and not in back. They should have done both.

Same amount of labor to remove the calipers to be painted as it is to just swap them out. Buy the R calipers for $1000, sell the stockers for $650-$700, ends up costing the same or less with less down time for the car
