The only reason why ford says new bolts is because of the applied blue locktite. Reuse the original ones, add some locktite and torque to spec. You'll be fine.

I ordered from Ford Parts, probably paid more than some folks but no big deal.
My local dealer got the order and they are going to do the swap for me. I'm going to hang on to the black ones, maybe sell at some point. Kind of a pricey purely cosmetic switch, but I love the look

Well I got my red calipers for a great price for Autonation Ford. The only problem is the powder coat on 2 of the calipers is chipped. The chips on the front caliper are on the inside and would not be visible once installed. Unfortunately the chip on the rear caliper is on the outside and is quite visible. Please tell me if I am being to picky but I am inclined to return the two chipped calipers and ask for new ones. Its just such a hassle to return stuff lol.

Good luck. When I first did this last winter I literally went through 9 different calipers until I got 4 perfect ones.

In all honesty I chipped one of my rear calipers taking the 60+ lbs stock wheel off. :doh:

I think the Red Brembos look great, but with Magnetic Grey + Blue OTTS + future bronze wheels, my car will start looking confused about it's own identity lol

Well I'll give it a shot at least but 9 returns sounds like a huge pita. Hopefully I get two good replacements.I could live with the front. It's the rear caliper that is bothering me.

I didn't order mine online. I own a automotive repair business. I deal with the dealership and get a nice discount. But yeah it was a pain in the ass. FYI. They are painted not powder coated. You could touch them up with single stage paint with hardner added.

Yeah that would suck. When I mounted my wheels I put a old bath towel on top of the calipers

So Autonation WBL is taking them back and they are paying the return shipping. The parts guy said he would check the replacements for chips before they send them out to make sure they r good.
