Who has the best price on the "R" red front and rear badges? I have found the front however I haven't found the deck lid badge in the aftermarket. Are they the same part number? Anyone know? I realize they are incorrect for a non R but mine is Race Red and begging for a little red trim. Thanks.

I absolutely agree that on Race Red, (Hey, that's what I have) a red badge will be kickin'. I also think black cars would be amazing with red badges. Please post parts numbers when you have them.

Have you checked to see if the front and rear badges are interchangeable? Front and rear might be the same

That's my plan as well, red badges, red calipers, red stitched steering wheel. I don't want to try to pass it off as an "R" but they just look perfect on Race Red.

I guess I will get my buddy at FORD stealer parts department to tell me if they are the same part number. I have not found one labeled for the "rear" online.

Let us know what part number that is :)

I like to disassemble things.
I got this note from my FRPP dealer (who also sells a lot of Ford service parts, etc) yesterday.

Ford has cancelled all 3 of the GT350 grille emblems. Citing "excessive demand."
Not sure if the front and rears are identical but it would make sense if they were.

I may be pulling my rear panel off today and if I do I'll take a close look to see if it is the same as what is shown up above in terms of retention.

The only part number I've seen is FR3Z-8A224-BB.

Did you get a chance to check if the rear emblem is the same? Thanks.

I'm not sure.

Here's the FRPP panel and my factory GT350 panel with the snake badge.

And here's the backside. Note the two diagonal, light colored blotches near the center of the bottom panel.

The molded studs are melted in place. Note the FRPP panel has none of that.

I may be wrong, but it would appear as though the rear badge is part of the panel assembly. My sense is that the front badge is badge only.

Yea and it doesn't look like the studs in the picture of the front emblem match the location on your panel. Thank you for checking.

Ok, here is what I've learned. The front badge is the previously mentioned part number from this thread. The grill and or maybe the front facia would need to come off to replace the grill emblem. (might hold off on that until the air/air heat exchanger goes in). The rear badge doesn't have an individual part number that I can find. The badge is "heat staked" to the black panel. It is a process by which the molded plastic bosses are "melted " down to a nearly flat surface. The emblem could be removed and another "staked" in place if you had a replacement with correctly placed bosses. Maybe the front is the same emblem as the rear but it doesn't use hardware to retain it to the panel.
