325/30r20 possible?

Also has anyone done a 315/30r20 on a 20x12. I have seen this on a 20x11 but wondering if anyone has pushed the envelope yet.

on a 20x12 the widest on the stock body I have seen and confirmed to work is a 305/30/20 it stretches a tad but is needed to clear.

I have done a 325/30/19 and that is confirmed to work, I would presume however for a 20" it would need to be a 25 profile.

So it's a height issue not width. Might try a 335/25/20 if so.

Why wouldn't a 30 series 325/335 tire work on 20x12 inch rim if 315/35/20 fits fine on an 11" wide rim? Wouldn't a more aggressive offset help even though the tires would stick out past the fenders a bit? Also, wouldn't a modified rear suspension setup help clear a wider than 315 tire?

As far as height goes, a 30 series 325/335 tire should be shorter than a 35 series 305 or 315. A 335/30/20 tire is 28" tall. A 325/25/20 tire is only 26.3"

A 20x12 maxs out the rear factory suspension setup now to tun a 12 rear you normally run a et 50 which puts that wheel dead flush with the fender to run a tire equal to that 12 rear your going to rub, you need to run a 305 tire for the tire to curve and help clear the inner quarter panel.

Unless you tub the rear then you can do whatever you want.

Well lets do it this way

I test fitted a 19x11 ET 55 with a 325/30/19 Conti tires and it fit on the rear no rubbing, but the inner is tight but it doesnt rub

How much space is available up front on the inside? How far in can the wheel/tire sidewall be pushed in without rubbing even in turns? 1, 1.5, 2 inches? Not worried about the outside/fender.

depends so for instance a 10" ET 40 is perfect anything more can touch the strut.

A 10+40 with what tire? 285? That would mean we can push in 10mm....We can't run a 305 pushed all the way in up front or it will stick out from the fender about 10mm then?

Do you think a 295 on a 10.5"+25mm will stick out from the fender? That will stick out 20mm from stock and push in 10mm from stock. How far do we have before the tire visually sticks out from the fender?

Well lets do it this way

Well that sucks..... I was planning on running a 20x12 with 325/30 Michelin sport cups in the rear.

You may still be ok but need a 20x11.5 wheel or have the offset perfect . I saw the 345 and it only stuck out a little and may be able to come in a little more.

I have ran a 315/35/20 on a 20x11 True Forged wheel.. Very tight fit.
