Currently have a Non-PP GT Premium, running the stock 235 square setup. Found a good deal on local FB marketplace for 20x10 +40 wheels, with 275/30/20 tires (also square setup). Would I run into any issues or rubbing with this setup? Also concerned about damaging the wheels with low profile tires, but the roads I drive on aren't that bad. Curious to hear other's thoughts or what setup may work better.

I'd rather have an inch taller tire, which would be a 275/35

Certainly not going to rub since it's on the small side

No rubbing, you’ll be fine. I run 285/35/20 as an FYI and I don’t rub at all.

Edit: agree with the above, I’d consider a 35 profile tire to get a little more sidewall.

I have 275/30-20 on fronts and have cut the sidewalls twice. First was from raised manhole cover, second was pot hole which bent rim. 35s would be better! But I wish I went with 19s on the front now. Rear 305/30-20 and no problems.

I have been running 275/35r20 squared for almost 2 years with .5" drop springs and absolutely no rubbing, my only question would be that 40 offset, my wheel are 20x9.5" +35, just not sure about +40.
