Did you order it from an Ontario dealer?

I wish I saw this whole vehicle shortage coming, when prices were excellent during the height of the pandemic in 2020. I was looking to buy one from Ontario or Alberta with the US to CAD exchange rate - would have ended up with a brand new 2020 GT base at the time for around 29k US.

I have window sticker but blend date shows 3-28 still and have not received any more emails saying it was moved to this week.

What is your number after blend date? Not sure if that is order they are produced for that build week.

So they gave you a built confirmation today but no delivery date expectant? Mine gave me bothbin same email. Says week of 24-28 of April.

Hey zombie, when did you order? And I hear you on getting the car before the next winter. Im from Ontario Canada and i was literally thinking the same thing getting the car right before the next winter would suck! I ordered my car 11/04/21 and STILL it’s unscheduled clean! I’m hoping this week is the week I’ll hear something

Ordered 14 Feb 22, my dealer can't even tell me what the status is, just that they "received the order" and that I don't have a build date yet.

Somewhat related but made me laugh.

Wife has been dragging her feet about ordering a new car, we finally went in to talk to our salesman today. Casually discussed the Mustang order with some small talk, and I asked him how long from the build date of 5/2 to delivery, in his best guess.

He said a month or so, I looked over his right shoulder at the Flat Rock plant, and asked if he was serious about it taking a month to cross the street. He was, but also said he knows a couple guys and may be able to have it expedited a little sooner. I just rolled my eyes and said of course it takes a month.

*Wife was thinking Bronco or Expedition. Test drove Bronco, cute car but a little too rugged for her. No Expedition to drive, so we drove an Explorer, and it was fine. She's a materials manager for Ford, and has never liked the Explorer due to the utter incompetence and poor workmanship at every level in the Chicago plant.

She decided to order an Explorer Limited HEV, then we were told those order banks for 2022 closed 2 weeks ago. We're going to order a '23 in September when the banks open.

For me order status was always unavailable when Ford was updating my status. So I was able to see status last week showing in production. Then this past Monday tracking status wasn't working. Just received a email today showing car is built and delivery date was given. But tracking status still inop. I'm sure it's because they are in process of finalizing build and getting it delivered. I'm sure the tracking status will be back up sometime this week. Just takes a bit to show the update.
