If you're comfortable with it do it! Remember they don't make these cars November-February so we're nearing the end of any rolling off the line until March.

Why do they stop making them for 4 months?

Too cold here in Michigan. Because of the sport cup 2s they cant get traction in winter months on the certification dyno and they cant get them on the rail car cause its too steep.

Odd problem to have but if you have ever driven sport cup 2s in 30 or less degrees you understand they are literally HOCKEY PUCKS. Its only sport cup 2 tired cars though.

Yep, I was born and raised in Livonia, which is just outside of Detroit, so I know about the cold. My BIL still lives in Flatrock, and we go to visit every couple of winters just to remind us of why we moved to Texas.

I did not consider the Cup 2 tires, as I want a Base GT500 with the more streetable 4S tires.

FWIW, 7500 ADM is what I paid for a loaded base car in the Bay Area. What can I say I wanted the car.

He is not from the bay area. The prices are nuts in the bay area.

Thank you for all your opinions and input. I'm going to the dealership today. I will post my results
If you are going to push for a better deal, you have to be willing to walk. If they want to sell the car, they won't let you leave the parking lot.

Or they may let you leave.

The best time to make a deal is end of year, end of month. You are close to one of those.

Where are you located OP? I'm aware of a motivated dealer that has CFTP Antimatter with white stripes gt500. They have finally accepted the fact that they need to jump off the ADM pedestal and is finally willing to sell at sticker.
