I just got curb rash on my driver's side rear wheel and so am looking to buy a new one. I have looked for these wheels online, Ford Performance has them but they are matte black and my Mach 1 oem wheel color is Magnetic -PTD. The non-hp rear wheel size is 19x10. Does anyone know where I can find them that are the right color? I have the upgrade from the normal base wheels.

While doing some searching, I had this thought: in earlier discussions with the spoiler, Members were finding them only available in black; they were then painted the Magnetic color.

I wonder if the wheels are same: they originate as a black wheel only. For production vehicles, the wheel is then painted by Ford or a supplier. For someone purchasing Over The Counter, black is the only choice, the buyer painting them post-sale.

Thank-you. Sounds like what may have been done.

You’ll have to get it painted or powder coated but I believe the style is the same. Ford references the PP2 in the product description but I believe they kept the same design for the Mach non-HP optional wheels. Might want to hold a picture of the FP wheel next to one of your wheels just to make sure there’s no design differences

If you only have curb rash and no structural damage to the wheel why don't you look into repair?

I've had wheels refinished in the past with outstanding results. Probably a more cost effective solution for some curb rash.

Yea, I am thinking about that too. Here is the damage:

That’s pretty much what my wheel looked like when I got hit this summer. It got refinished instead of replaced and it looks brand new. Would never know it got beat up

The body shop I used has a local wheel shop he uses for that stuff. I’ll see if I can find the name, but if you can find a local wheel shop that does painting and powder coating, they’re likely equipped to repair the wheel as well. They’ll probably sand it down to make everything smooth then either blend it in or respray the whole wheel. Mine was rashed pretty good most of the way around the wheel so they ended up respraying the whole wheel

The first estimate is in to replace my wheel, $790.80.
