I doubt it. There’s been a few folks that have said they’ve heard Ford is not going back to nameplates of the past for S650 (Boss, Mach, Cobra, etc) but looking forward and coming up with new nameplates (Dark Horse, GTD, something else TBA). Front end looks killer though, I wouldn’t be mad if Ford went that direction…

Isn't Ford desperately working to keep their fleet MPG within EPA spec?
If so I think it's doubtful to see a 7 Liter engine in a production car from them.
Also, I am hoping I am wrong.
A 429 variant of the coyote would be pretty cool.
Youtube has turned into the clickbait capitol.

Ford sells the 7.3L Godzilla crate engine right now so would not be much of a stretch to put it in an S650 platform. Will they is a whole nother question in itself.

That front end is for sure what should be on all 650s.

Yea, I don't really care about the name. I just love the styling on this car. If Ford made it I'd be a buyer. Even better if it has an aluminum big block.

I found another video of the 2025 Boss 429. :giggle: All the ones I've seen show S550s in packages. None show an S650. None are sponsored by Ford. All of them talk around the topic, without offering specifics. I'll await the announcement from Ford.

Ford has officially revealed there will be an, "addition to the stable" in 2025. And previous Ford announcements of spending at plants highlight additional funding going to Flat Rock. Some think the unit might be a four-door, hybrid or performance SUV.

I mean, you could have just opened his channel and looked at all the fake videos he has...
I noticed that. If you go to his channel, all the videos have the same appearance and staging. They talk of some kind of halo model, using a previous model's image.

I'm not internet savvy enough to even know how to do that.

You could do it in a few ways.

In the video you posted, clicking on his channel icon in the upper-left. His channel will then open up.

Googling the name of the channel "drive pedia", in YouTube.

Once there, you can select "videos" from the channel. For this feed, the videos all have the same general appearance and theme. None of the ones I clicked on involve an actual person. It appears he's created the channel and multiple computer-generated videos, later adding his (or AI) comments.

I'm sure he's generating some revenue. But I doubt it's anything he's going to retire on. All kidding aside, it could even be a channel authored by anyone, or any state actor, attempting to generate funds.

Desperately is probably a bit of a stretch. They have enough EV and hybrid models they should be fine. It’s basically the reason they’re able to continue V8’s in the Mustang for as long as they want (Farley’s words).

That style does look good, but it looks too much like an S550 IMO. I'd rather see new styling more like the GTD. It looks more aggressive and sinister. Yes, it is somewhat reminiscent of Kia styling, but I really don't care about that. All the automakers have always copied each other.

Boss 429 - there have been rumors for years. At least 9 years since I was told by my local Ford dealer that Ford was making one. I assume they tried it and had some test prototypes, but someone in management killed it. Probably the same person who thought the Mach E was a good name as well as Dark Horse..
