How did you get to $76,355? I just built a loaded DH without carbon fiber wheels of painted strip and only came up with $72,155 with D&H. Not all that much different than a loaded M1.

This looks way better than the Transformer C8. Still has that Mustang muscle car look.

If they actually made a mid engine Mustang that looked like that, I’d buy one in heartbeat. Only thing I don’t like is the headlights, I prefer more of an S550 look there. But I wouldn’t not buy one because of headlights…

I just built a non-premium Dark Horse HP for $67.1k. That’s Mach 1 HP pricing, not too bad at all. I would only order the premium if that was the only way to get the CF wheels

I think that $76k one had the painted stripes
Check post 31. We were comparing cost to cost versus a similarly equipped Mach 1. Load up a DH with everything (cf wheels and painted stripes) and you will be closer to $80k.

My parents paid $13k for an 87 Mustang GT.. They could have had the Saleen for $22k with a lot more (at the time) power but balked at the cost of tires so they took the GT.

I paid nearly $67,000 after tax, title, and fees for my Loaded 19GT (Recaros, magride, AE, etc), with a Roush P2 kit installed at 0% interest. (I've gone through 5 sets of drag radials in 22,000 miles too.. Tires ARE expensive)

And this morning my wife parked our Kia backwards in the driveway... That means we are having roast beef for dinner.

Either way we slice the roast beef though, car prices are going to keep going up. It blows my mind that you can spend $50k on a fucking Corolla GR! This will be the last Mustang I own so it doesn't matter to me how much the price increase there is. I'll keep it till it's more trouble than it's worth and get rid of it. Back to used cars for me.

I don’t know why, but suddenly I could go for a nice roast beef sandwich…

The 500-hp Mustang Dark Horse is also $11,000 more than an equivalent
Camaro SS 1LE. Really Ford, really ?

Edit:
No words...

Adding 19” X 10.5” (F) 19” X 11” (R) Tarnished Dark-Painted Low Gloss Aluminum Wheels also requires the following changes
Remove
Performance Rear Spoiler – Painted Tarnish Dark
GT Performance Package
MagneRide® Damping System

Yep I know, just got confused what the arguing was about because somebody posted a build around the $76k mark but it had the painted stripe package I built one the same as the mach1 I have a deposit down on and it’s about $4700 more for the DH

Built a Dark Horse Premium with only one option, handling package, MSRP of $67,960. Figure that is pretty comparable to my 2020 GT PP2 which had a MSRP of $52,665. (That I ended up getting for invoice end of summer 2020.) I noticed that the Dark Horse models say "Limited availability", so that tells me dealers will be adding markups to them also. Guess I will be keeping my PP2, don't think a Dark Horse is $15k better.

The wheels come with the handling package which includes its own spoiler and version of MagneRide.

As far as the SS 1 LE, so what. It is what it is. People can buy whatever they want.
