Mustangs to Colorado from Flat Rock travel CONVOY to a Flat Rock Railyard, RAIL to Denver, then CONVOY to dealer. Mine took about 10 days once shipped.
I just received my 'shipped' notification from Ford. Is there a way to track the truck across the US?

Looks like all HP cars will be produced in March. I bet they shut the line down after that to make the move to the next gen. Makes sense for a mid year debut.

Posting this here in case there are ppl who either never got their MY22 order, are tired of waiting, or simply looking for an in stock unit.

There is an in-stock and available M1 at Ourisman Ford in Alexandria, VA. Details are, 2023 Eruption green, non-HP, 700A, 6MT, optional magnetic painted wheels. Just arrived earlier this week and i believe is in the process of being PDI'd.

Long story short, due to financial circumstances, I won't be taking delivery of my order :(. It's super bittersweet and a bummer, however I wanted to make sure any enthusiasts here who are tired of waiting have the first chance at it before it goes onto their website.

If someone here does end up getting it, please post pics! I am very curious to see what chassis badge it received. It should be a VERY early build, blend date was 12/5.

Good luck all. Hoping one day I can get into a used one..
Looks like it is up on there web site for a great price

I’m t-minus a couple of days from pickup.

Excitement is palatable. At least I can get the off duty stuff completed while I might not be driving much anyway.

Current immediate plans are PPF, PS oil catch can, front license plate bracket (FU NJ), dash cam, the free 10 hp mod and jack rails.

Im getting a sense that the M1 HP will be a rere breed. I didn’t consider it because I thought I missed out on it already (decided to buy Nov 22). In this fluctuating market and economy, I doubt if dealers would take the risk of getting one esp since the 24 is right around the corner. I’ve been monitoring M1’s for sale in my area and they are not selling. I think it will be a low production vehicle.
You’re absolutely right. The M1 HP is already a rare breed, and with time (sadly, traffic collisions, accidents, etc.) they will be even rarer.

In the last two years I have seen plenty of GT350s and GT500s, a single Mach 1 Base and NO Mach 1 HP. At all. Another rarer breed is the SN197 Boss 302 (LS).

I’ve had people take pics/videos of my HP on the freeway, traffic lights and gas stations. It’s the rarity, more so than the looks.

Or maybe it’s me. 😂

There is no such thing as a base M1. M1’s are all the same just PP or HP equipment.

I didn’t need the HP, and I just accepted this is going to be a street vehicle, the time spent on the track In my mind and the time i actually have spend there never lines up so I just accepted it with this one, I must just be getting older

the dealer I got mine from had a FJG HP with a 6 speed that went to a collector, he traded in an 03 roush with 18k so I doubt I’ll see it on the road much

been a few other dealers with grey, but I’ve yet to see one in the wild

I'm wondering how many Mach 1s will be actually made for 2023, and also curious how many will have the HP......I'm happy I ordered mine back in September with HP because on Ford build website you cannot choose HP option it's gone......but now that I received a VIN# I'm more confident my car will be built same with all you guys posting in the past week that your VIN#s came in for your HP!

FWIW, Just did a quick Autotrader search within 200 miles of here. 96 new, used, and in-transit Mach 1’s available, and 14 appear to be handling package cars.

There is a Base and a Premium Mach 1. However, I meant to say “Regular” Mach 1, instead of the Handling Package Mach 1 (with the cool performance equipment).

They all have cool performance equipment. Would you like the big wheels and spoilers or regular ones? :cwl: 🍿

I admit I didn t read all these pages but back when I ordered my 21 M1 and then followed some 22 orders (to support those waiting as I did) I don t understand something. I thought these M1 s are 21/22 run of only 2 years? How many of these darn things they going to make? I wanted a limited run NEW Mustang and thought this would be it. ??
Excited for y all who have cars coming either way!

Reality is anything Ford makes on a regular production line is never going to really be limited. Having said that, the 2021 is the release year and is probably going to be the most desirable, if not for any other reason but the letter “M” on the dash.
I’m not sure, but I’d say there’s probably going to be less Mach 1’s than GT350’s.
