Congrats. 1777 seems like the highest chassis I've seen so far. We may easily see 4k units produced for 2022. My build day is 8/12. I expect a chassis number 20xx - 21xx.

October will be scheduling only 150 GT500’s and base cars only (no CFTP) I can’t imagine we’ll see 4k.

My dealer emailed and said basically that Ford is running up to the end of the CFTP cars they can make and that nearly all of the remainder of the vehicles will be base cars without Recaros and that there are extreme supply constraints greatly limiting how many more they can even build. They seem to think there will be a 2023MY GT500 produced as a result.

I don't think there will be from everything I've read. I think myself and many others whose orders have not been accepted yet are SOL on a '22 or on an S550 at all.

I was wondering if something like that might be going on.
A bunch of M1 orders got moved up a month.
I was thinking it might be because they are moving the HP cars up to beat the cold weather.

While not exactly posting in the right place I figured I might get a quick reply given how many folks just got their cars the last few weeks. Anybody have a good part/model # for a Front License Plate Tow Hook Relocation Mounting Kit. Stupid VA requires front plate, I am tempted to just say the hell with it but thought I might get a good relocation kit if someone knows of one out there.

Only 150 base cars. That ain't a lot!!!! Zero CFTP is even less. Recaros and racing stripes are a constraints.

Been hearing the 4G modem may be also. But that requires the dealer to do a special delete code since it’s standard. I hate to say it but feels like things are headed towards an earlier than expected end of run. I hope not for those still waiting.

Hearing this makes me glad I gave up on waiting for my Nov-2021 order to get picked up by the plant. Bought this one on Tuesday and am not looking back. This is a mean looking ride!

I've always said fuck front plates even when illegal, never had any problems.

Many run without a front plate here in Texas. But there are a few places that are very strict. Have to be careful in those places.

That is a really good photo...

The ZL1 Addon company has a really nice set up to make the tow hook a license plate bracket. I saw it done to a GT350R. It was sturdy and professional.
