2022 GT500 order thread

Mine is priority code 19. I asked my salesman if he could change that and he said ford sets the priority. I do not have the handling package so that shouldnt be my holdup

The dealer should be able to change that up to 10.
Any higher 01-09 is by Ford.

10 won’t matter on a GT500. Unless the dealership has GT500 orders sitting above him.

What does “cleanup” mean?

Basically filling in remaining unfilled slots for those weeks using parts they know to be available to build in that time. Hopefully a few more builds fit into those weeks.

I personally just asked my rep to remove my handling package, call Ford to re-issue Priority 1 and I'm hopeful to be scheduled in the gaps if possible.

I want to apologize to everyone waiting but I think I lucked out. I placed my order for Base HE vinyl stripes with only option being handling package on June 9th. I don't know when it got the VIN but I have VIN now and have production week of August 1st. I honestly didn't expect it to get pushed this quick.

Just curious what's the typical temps where you are? Are you in a moderate climate part of AK? You planning on changing tires? Inquiring minds want to know

It's been an awesome summer here so far. Lots of sunshine, very little rain, tho. Daytime temps mid 60's to low 70's in Kenai. We are close to the Inlet, so temps are a bit cooler when the wind is out of the south off the water. No need to change tires, but of course the driving season is a tad shorter than the lower 48.

I talked to my salesman and he said I'm still material hold. Absolute shit. Happy for those getting them just really pissed here waiting on nothing it seems like

I spoke to mine as well and he said I am in material hold as well and that there must be some commodity that is holding my order up and I'm like no. There is no commodity restriction that's where Ford places all of the Shelby orders until they are ready to receive an allocation and then you are moved to priority code 01 or 02 to be ready to receive your allocation from my understanding. I asked him that I'm still at priority code 02, right since that's what you said last week and he said that I'm priority code 10. They had an order that was just produced so I must be next in line and I'm like I literally confirmed with you guys 3 times that I was your first GT500 order and you said yes each time. The regional ep is on vacation this week so I won't have any news until Monday, but I have no faith in my dealer pushing the rep to get this moved to priority code 01 except for my dealers incentive to get the commission on this order.

I am on UMH as well. Spoke with Dealer they swear up and down that his ford rep said I’m marked for August build and that we should hear something soon.
But if I’m still stuck in UMH with priority code 10

doesn’t it need to move to 01 or 02 to mean his rep actually pulled it? I am their only order and allocation. Anyone know?

Will need to go 01/02 before you get VIN and date, but no rule saying you need to sit in 01/02 for any period of time.

It’s totally possible they know they’ll pull you, and you’ll go 01/Date/VIN all on the same day.
Fingers crossed they get you in this upcoming week for Aug!

Is there a way to check the current priority code? Its on the order but other than calling the dealer is there a way to check? I'm sure my dealer is sick of me by now so I dont want to call back there to ask
