So many variables unfortunately. Builds might be different with different parts availability. And from what friends-in-the-know tell me, much depends upon the dealer and their relationship with Ford — plus dealing behind the scenes. If it were simply order date and parts availability, the computer could crank out the scheduling pretty quickly, and the “whys” could easily be visible. Appears to be much more complex, thus the lack of transparency. But, who really knows — closely guarded secrets!!!
Man I dont understand how March orders are done before January but again it is what it is. I will still keep my fingers crossed I get some info

🤞 In any case, with another scheduling session gone by I'm gonna pull the Handling Package and see if next scheduling gives me any luck. With only 11.5 weeks left of scheduling I'm starting to worry.
11.5 weeks puts us in early September, right? Is that the end of the road for 2022 GT500 builds? You thinking at this rate, it will be low numbers built? Possibly no 2023 GT500?

Also dealers probably shouldn't be able to create orders without allocations in hand from Ford, as it causes way more confusion.

Knowns:
All of June and July are fully scheduled.
The last day of MY22 Production is Nov 23 2022.

So 11.5 weeks is from August (assuming all of Aug was scheduled) to Nov 23.

Assumptions:
All of August was scheduled today.

Stretched thinking:
They said they wanted to schedule 750 GT500's in August, if we assume the same for Sept and Oct and half for Nov..... We're around ~4000 ish, I think....

And yeah, until I see an order guide for a MY23 GT500, gonna assume 22 is it.
Maybe we'll know more when MY23 Mustang Order Banks open on September 14th

Mine is priority code 19. I asked my salesman if he could change that and he said ford sets the priority. I do not have the handling package so that shouldnt be my holdup

So you're waiting on Ford to give your dealer their allocation and move to Priority 01 or 02.

That's why you're seeing others scheduled, they have the allocation.

You won't go from Priority 19 to VIN and scheduled.

You'll need to go to 01 or 02, then you get a VIN and a date.

Is your dealer sure they're getting an allocation? Are you the first Shelby they ordered this MY?

Hell I ordered 11/26/21 and still nothing
I feel lucky. I ordered mine 11/26/22. It blend date of 06/08/22. Built as of 06/13/22. Just sitting there needing to ship. It's like torture but at least I am in a better spot than most.

Good luck and hopefully soon y'all get your cars.

Difference in having an allocation and not. Ordered one in February that wasn't allocated. Still hasn't been. I canceled after being told I was 2nd in line.. @Snoopy49 made a post about an available allocation and a deposit was made that day 3/14 was the day I submitted my order, it due to be built next Wednesday.

Yes I was contacted
🤞I hope you're right, I'm waiting until tomorrow to harass my sales guy for an update.

Are you one of the folks who was contacted saying if you pulled the Handling Package you'd get an Aug build? I'm about to do that given the timelines.
yes I was Contacted by my dealer two weeks ago saying his ford rep told him if I pull handling package they will schedule it for build in August. Then last week the ford rep said yes it’s all set and I marked for Aug build it just won’t show on your end yet.

Being number one in line for the dealership's allocation is big. I was in that situation and it worked out.

I know I am the only one for my dealership. Just getting old and frustrated. I was told two weeks ago Aug now it sounds like that could not be the case….

Yeah, I have my dealer's first but I think having the handling package is my current downfall. Going to verify tomorrow, if I don't have a vin it's getting pulled then praying for a Sept build date.

Side note: I cannot wait to see your CFTP HE, I saw the base with painted at Covert here in Austin. I can't image how great that in CFTP will look.

Thanks. Believe me, I’m like a kid on Christmas Eve. It just won’t get here soon enough.
