doesnt matter about the clean. you're in trim now. your car should be "produced" tomorrow. then if it needs stripes or other items it will to go the "mod shop" (or to penske for painted stripes) and then be "built". looks to me like you're moving along well.

...he bought a GT500 from another dealer but was surprised to find that it was ordered w/HP but shipped without it. So he set about buying the missing parts.

Did it list the car as having the Handling Package on the sticker or no?

No, not on the sticker. But dealer told him they initially ordered it that way. Someone might have agreed to delete to get the car built.

What does unscheduled clean mean?

That’s a running tally of the status from the Vehicle Visibility Report (VVR), read bottom up, with most current status on top.
When you take delivery, remember to ask the dealer for the full report as it disappears pretty quick from the system.
Next on the report should be the shipping info, to include the rail car number (if appl) so you can track it.

That would be kinda foul if a custom ordered car came without the options you selected. Hopefully mine comes as ordered, if not I will pass. On top of that, the dealer wanting an ADM....

I also just noticed that my window sticker MSRP is a different price than what was on my order sheet.

I assume the new MSRP will be what I will have to pay now?

Check price level (3 digits) on your DORA form at time of order vs similar number under SPECIAL ORDER on your sticker.

Do you have a signed contract of agreed upon price from when you ordered car? That should be your price. Provided you didn’t change anything major that would cause a “reset” of the order at a higher price. Search the term “price protection” on the forum and you’ll get lots of info. TL/DR Ford provides price protection on verified customer order cars that see price increases from time of order to fulfillment. Caveat: it’s to the dealer who should pass on to purchaser. The how & if varies from dealer but I would strongly advise research & discussion with your dealer (utilizing the docs stated above) Do not assume you are responsible for price increases.

My window sticker is definitely more than my order form price.

$1,850 more plus another $200 for destination and deliver. I signed nothing nor did I make a deposit. A verbal agreement for me to buy the car just like the 2017 GT350 and the 2020 GT500 I purchased from the same dealership. I will point out the price difference to the GM tomorrow and see what he has to say.

The GM emailed me the order form at the time of the order and of course I have that email.

They were but I could not justify the extra cost. I know they are superior but the cost just did not make sense for me.

Does he have a a more current form? This one says it was not submitted.
