2022 GT500 order thread

Will be butt hurt if I sell my cars and don't get this thing

I hear ya.
I impulsively sold my 392 Jeep this week, now I have no car.
I should have been here 6 months ago.

Trying to control my impulses and not go buy whatever I can find.
Mach 1's have recently come on my radar, but from what y'all have said, those are hard to find, too.
Especially with the handling pack.

I ordered one in Ohio on January 31st. Havent heard one thing yet. Went to the dealer and he is telling me it will likely be a 23. He also said they discontinued 3 colors for 22, mischievous purple, the green and of course the color I ordered code orange. I have an order number but no other info. This is really turning intoba stressful event cause I have my mystichrome cobra sold and my 70 is for sale. Will be butt hurt if I sell my cars and dont gwt this thing

All of that sounds extremely suspect. Especially considering there are cars recently scheduled in those colors.

Your dealer will know if they received an allocation and applied it against your order. This will initially appear as a change to Priority 1 on your order. Then comes a VIN & build date.
No allocation = no actions.

Well they haven't scheduled any ICE Mustangs since the week of 4/25. :(

Here's to hoping they pick back up the scheduling.

EDIT: No new Mustang ICE Scheduling Next week either. :sigh:

When is Flat Rock summer shutdown? I'm curious if they are gonna have an extended shutdown this year. I would think it would be later in the year for changeover but things like that could even happen at Christmas.

Is that the two weeks that the plant is listed as "Down"? If so looks like weeks of 7/4 & 7/11

Yep, to be honest I could see them waiting to schedule more until after shutdown. I know the last week I believe I saw cars being produced was the week of the 20th. If they gave themselves some cushion to make sure everything was built by shutdown before scheduling additional builds. By waiting until after shutdown I'm meaning pausing scheduling until 2nd week of June or so for the startup after shutdown. This is pure speculation on my part but would make sense. I know it's frustrating for those who have been waiting forever. Hopefully it happens soon.

Last scheduled week was 6/27 so they're right on track. Build until 6/27. 2 Weeks off, then hopefully get more booked if the parts are ready.

Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to figure out the chassis number from the window sticker or is it only when the car arrives with plate attached?

Plate attached. According to the spread sheet the chassis numbers aren't in order of vin as n0002 has a higher higher vin than n0007
