2022 GT500 order thread

Yours is the 3rd or 4th I’ve heard about with QA issues or damage while shipping. Getting a bit concerning as I wait for mine coming next week. (Allegedly) Definitely will need a close look before taking possession.

On another note, 1629 built so far, creeping up. Don’t think they’ll likely exceed that number during remaining production. My bet would be we don’t see above 3k

Is that the total number produced or the highest chassis number seen? I know they were supposed to schedule 750 for August and I don't know if they will produce the same number in Sep, Oct, and Nov. These numbers equate with last year at this time and they made around 4000. I own M3987 and it was built on Nov 15, 2021. My guess is that there will be more than 4000 produced maybe more than 4500 and over 1000 will be HE models.

If he said chassis #1629 rolled off line past Monday then that’s pretty much total # built to that date.

I doubt they will build over 3k and given that I’m hearing reports of cancelled HE’s (likely never allocated) and dealers unable to order HE’s at this point, it would be a real stretch to hit 1k HE. My guess would be 500-750 maybe. Again, this is from what I’ve heard/observed. & I have no concrete sources so take it all with a pound of salt. Just my 2 cents

I did see that one. I didn't catch the chassis number. What boggled my mind was that it was built on Monday and delivered on Friday. I have never heard of that happening so quick, so my mind assumed he meant a couple of Mondays ago.

So, on June 16 (Chassis #1150) to July 18 (Chassis #1629) that is 479 in a month actually 2 weeks. The plant was closed for 2 weeks out of that month.

Can anyone confirm whether Heritage Eds have come to a close? Same question for CFTP. Im hearing from a dealer they cannot use their allocation for either.

Allocations are for either a CFTP (with or without POTS) or a Base. Sounds like he has a Base allocation so no, he can’t order a CFTP. Not sure about HE.

anyone interested in a mischievous purple cftp with white vinyl stripes and tech package? MSRP is 103k. dealer wants 10K markup but I think it's a little bit negotiable. good chance to get probably a pretty rare cftp at a very reasonable adm. car should be arriving to the dealer in August. msg me.

Same numbers as GT350 HE percentagewise. Not rare but highly desired. Just wait every Youtube video is about to have an HE model. People will start commenting (not nicely) it is only a paint job while it goes up in value.

No sir, Monday or this week. I have got my 350, 350r and 500 all days after production. Rail really slows the process down unfortunately. This hauler takes vettes north to Michigan then hauls Ford's back to Kentucky on the way back to bg.

Why? To be honest the mischievous purple is a pretty cool color. I'd take it over the Brittany blue if I'm honest. Has way more character. The vinyl stripes can be peeled off.

Well ... I wish I could say it arrived. I had my order canceled so I went out and found one. The salesman texted me saying he detailed it himself and is ready to go for tomorrow. I'm wondering what kind of "love marks" there will be from their detail though

I didn't mean to insinuate you weren't being truthful. I have 3 on order and 1 is to a Michigan dealer and it has been in shipping since late June. I just thought it was odd.
