Found this interesting -
A local dealer in the Toronto, Canada area is starting to receive 2021MY Mustangs in regular stock.

Now, Canadian models might be different from U.S.-spec models in the following areas - I haven't seen any Canadian-spec order guides.

In any case, noticed a few things:

1. The order guides posted earlier in this thread indicate GT Performance pkg to have summer-only tires.
A) However, the Window Sticker for this 2021 GT has "A/S" tire, in the size 255/40/19. No mention of staggered, and no mention of brand. (They probably are staggered, as in previous years, though)
B) We did have the 2019 GT PP1s and Bullits come equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport 4s, so Ford never equipped Cdn-spec PP1s with different tires;
However, in the dealer pics (and I know you can't see too much detail) these are not the Michelins - they look like the previously used Pirelis.

2. The dash plaque reverts back to the simple Mustang and lettering graphic, previously used for the 2018MY and 2019MY cars, a switch from the "50 years" plaque of the 2020MY cars.

Note: Prices are $CAD

wait, they charge CAD 4500 (3526USD) for the PP1 pack but 5000USD for it down here? wTFrack, over?

Hmm 5000 CAD = 4000 USD. Could it be that some flunkie Ford employee can't keep numbers and currency straight? And the price hike on PP1 imposed on USofA suckers for MY20 was a clerical error in a nameless spreadsheet?

I know, I've also been aware that the PP1 pkg is more $ numerically (and coverting to CAD from USD still results in it costing less in Canada) so not sure where the remaining cost is buried or shuffled around - because logically, there's no reason why we would pay "less" for the exact same pkg, so not sure what gives.

Howdy all. 1st post.
A dealer quoted me 67k for the Mach 1. 2k over invoice. Too rich for my blood.

the cool kids are buying from Grainger Ford (iowa) for 6.7-7% UNDER msrp, or 2% under 'invoice'.

In 2025 GM re-releases the C7 corvette? (typo in your profile)

A Mach 1 with every option would not even msrp for 67k. Not sure what dealer you are working with but I would run away.

5% is invoice and Grainger is 2% below that. so your cost should be more like 60.45+tax
Welcome to the new American Porsche sticker shock experience. Ford copied the flat-plane crank engine (not from Porsche), now they are copying the option pricing.

Edit - for clarity

Just curious. Can you purchase a Porsche with 480 HP, magneride for 60K? What model?

Sorry, don't know what you mean by 5% invoice and 2% Grainger...?

Also, I'm pretty wide shouldered. Would I regret the Recaro seats? I've never sat in one and there's none in my area for me to try.
Thanks.

the non-GT350 Recaro are quite wide and comfortable. Find a Bullitt or HPP ecoboost with all the options if GTs with Recaro are scarce.

For your information:

That’s not an invoice. That’s a build sheet at MSRP.
Build sheet, then.
