So, any idea where to get a Mach 1 and not get ripped off? I'm in NC.

As far as copying the engine, Ford had a single overhead cam engine going back to the early 60s. Outlawed by NASCAR because it made too much power. Porsche was never a car company Ford wanted to copy to my knowledge. Ford had superior engineering going back to making planes during WWII and before. https://dailyrubber.com/ford-galaxie-427-sohc-nascar-scaring-engine/

Also, I'm pretty wide shouldered. Would I regret the Recaro seats? I've never sat in one and there's none in my area for me to try.
Thanks.
I recommend against the Recaro seats. You will regret them, as I did in my Shelby GT350. I am fairly thin, 6’0 175 lbs; and I enjoyed the look of the racing seats which is why I ordered them. I just swapped my 2019 GT350 for a 2020 GT350 with regular seats and the total cost of that exercise was about $20,000 - not fun.

+1. You have to try them first. Trust me, and 348SStb, it’s worth the time and effort.

Does this price look right for a 2021 GT Premium?

What do you mean does it look right?

Question- why would you buy such a heavily loaded up GT Premium (car is immediately worth in the low $40k-range as a used car) instead of buying a Mach1?

Only reason I can think of is you prefer to have Adaptive Cruise Control.

Not sure what you mean by "right". If your asking is the option prices are correct, they certainly appear to be so. If you're asking if MSRP is a good selling price than the answer is no.

I guess i was asking about fair prices. I didn't think you had to pay for the B&O Upgrade then pay $995 for the radio.

The same guy that quoted me this quoted me 67k for a Mach 1.

The $995 charge is actually for the radio and B&O sound speaker system.

If you read the thing you posted, you aren't paying for the B&O upgrade and then paying $995 for the radio.

Yeah, I misunderstood the Build sheet. I got it.
