2021 GT350?

I can’t imagine Ford dropping the 350 if it still sells. I’m thinking some are holding off buying the 350 due to the 500 release. I really don’t understand that thought process because they are so different cars. No doubt the 500 is going to be a monster....maybe way to much for the 99%. Heck the 350 is way to much for the 99% but I believe much more manageable.
Dealerships marking up msrp has nothing to do with Ford Motor Co., it’s just supply and demand.

My 2 cents - although I’m over the corvette, that platform will be steeling the market. Especially when the Z06 with flat plane crank at 600 hp comes out.

Yep. If I fit at 6’6” I’m probably getting one. Will keep the R as a second track car.

I’m 6’4”+/- and didn’t fit. Had enough leg room but no bueno on the head room.
I’ve read that 6’8” folk fit. Unless they are proportionally weird, I say no way.

Don't know what to say after that statement as that certainly contradicts what I have been told by numerous individuals at Ford over the last ~6 months that the 2020 MY will be the only and last year that Ford produces the GT350 and the GT500 together on the FR assembly line.

I guess time will tell what plans that Ford has for the GT350 and the R model going forward?

Based on the reviews of the Corvette, I wouldn't buy one without driving it first. Probably the C9 will be much improved. I definitely would not make myself a guinea pig by buying the first year.

The Z06 is also a lot more $$ than the GT350. In my mind it could compete, but probably competes more with the GT350R version than the regular GT350 - or the GT500. And the GT350 might have gone away by the time the Z06 is released. I assume GM will wait a couple years until demand for the lower models of Corvette dies down.

When I bought mine in December of 2017 I was not overly concerned with resale. I hoped for production to end in 2018 to retain exclusivity. I like that I can go weeks without seeing another GT350. I like getting thumbs up from passerby’s and conversation with strangers. And we can’t forget the feature of inexplicably causing nearby car windows to roll down.

According to cars.com, there are about 756 2019 GT350's (new) languishing in dealers across America. The lowest price offered is currently $57,120 (MSRP $65,120). Bunches at $58 and $59K.

You would be crazy to spend MSRP on a 2019 right now - there are dozens of below invoice deals out there.

The release of the 2020 GT350 and the GT500 have driven 2019 prices into the basement.

Woooo Hoooo! Good news for me!... I am going to be sitting down with a warm cup of tea in about a month or so and start shopping for my GT350. Finally getting some things out of the way and timing should be good for me in November/December time frame. Was originally looking at used 2017-18, but with all of the engine issues and the risk of buying used unit that someone dumped because of oil consumption I am moving towards a new 2019. Why pay 54k for a 2018 when I can get a 2019 for 57-58?
The only thing I am going to pay special attention to is the manuf date... don't want one of those units that sat a Ford Corp during the polar vortex waiting for parts.
If anyone knows of small town dealerships that are sitting on a 2019 with heated/cooled seats with the better electronics package (bliss, B&o Stereo) . Don't need or want carbon fiber dash or handling pkg (gurney flap).
Will also be swapping out the Cup2's for MPSS.
